Three new colours
The Henley's shape stays exactly as it was: a gently curved, pill-shaped back, a rounded seat, tapered legs, and a curved wooden rail across the back that makes it look finished from every side of the table. What is new is the colour. Each of the three is a soft, textured woven fabric over foam cushioning, on a solid rubberwood frame with a walnut-toned finish.
Which room suits which
Light grey is the calm, understated one, and pairs easily with timber, pale stone and darker accents. Green is a muted grey-green, relaxed and at its best with natural materials and warm neutrals. Blue is a muted, textured blue that adds a considered touch of colour and works particularly well with warm timber and stone.
All three are armless and sold as a set of two, for a dining room, a kitchen dining area or a smaller table for two.
Living with it
Vacuum the fabric with a soft brush and blot spills straight away. Dust the frame.
The rest of the Henley range
The Henley also comes in camel and beige fabric, and in black or white faux leather, the wipe-clean pair for a busy kitchen or a restaurant. For all seven colours together, see the Henley dining chair.
