The Ashford is about one line. The back is tall and gently curved, and instead of stopping at the seat it flows down into softly shaped sides, so the chair holds you without needing arms. The seat is rounded and padded, the frame is solid wood and the tapered legs have a warm brown finish. It is a clean mid-century silhouette that looks as considered from the side as from the front.
Beige is a warm cream-beige, at home with oak tables, pale stone and neutral rooms. Green is a textured olive, an earthy accent that suits natural timber and soft neutrals. Grey is softly textured and calm, and contrasts with the warm legs for a balanced, versatile look.
A dining room or a kitchen dining area, for everyday meals. At 48cm wide and armless, it tucks neatly around a table, which helps when you want to fit more chairs along a side. The adjustable foot pads protect the floor and steady the chair where the floor is not quite level.
Vacuum the fabric with a soft brush and blot spills straight away. Dust the legs.
